The USS Valiant was a Defiant class, not constitution class. The Defiant on the list isn't the one you are thinking of, it's from TOS.

I'm not the biggest TOS fan, but I do like the design of the class. During one of the TNG Episodes, I think it was Relics; you got a clear view of the bridge with Scotty and Picard. You also get to see it again in a few other DS9/ENT flashback / mirror episodes. The design, though, I doesn’t fit that well after the cool NX-01 class (It looked more advanced in my opinion).

Its spelled Jem'Hadar. :P

Constituion classes are where it all began. Definitly a great class. I loved the way it looked with modern graphics. If only ENT had looked more like that than a submarine...

Found, I'm not exactly sure, but theres a reason why they went with the "submerine" look for the NX-01.

IC, yeah, they were very good episodes, loved how they were invluded. what bridge do you mean looks more advanced?

Lord Borg, I was talking about the NX-01 class. It may look a little bit like a submarine as Founder pointed out, but even with that I still believe that It looks more advanced. I love the class but it reminds me of a child's play toy.

The Constitution class vessels looked the most elegant of any of the starships, in my opintion. In particular, the Constitution class vessels in the movies were quite sleek looking. Galaxy class vessels as in TNG were by far the ugliest vessels. The intrepid class Voyager wasn't bad though.

Well, as it was pointed out, the NX-Class may look more advanced than the Constitution-Class, however, on-screen evidence points towards the opposite.
ENT: In a Mirror Darkly, Part 2, we had a battle where the I.S.S. Avenger (from the Mirror Universe) fought against the Constitution-Class from our universe, the U.S.S. Defiant (NCC-1764) Despite coming from our weak and docile universe, the Defiant completely owned that ship and blew it into several pieces in a matter of minutes.

^ The Defiant was made from technology 100 years in the future

as for the NX-01 looking more advanced, you should realized with modern day graphics, it's to be expected. I am sure the're would have been actuall working computer screens on TOS if they could have done it.

On a Side note of the Galaxy Class (Son to be carried in TNG area) it was not desgned for "sleek" it was desgned to be a self sustaining exploration vessle. It was also design to do a little bit of everything.
