There is this one episode of the Next Generation that I can't find. I can only vaguely remember it, and I don't think I ever saw the whole thing. I remember there being skin lesions of some sort on some of the crew. Possibly from a disease or a parasite. I think there was some sort of instinctual stabbing at some point that allowed the lesion to surface on one of the crew members. It was a creepy episode.

This is pretty vague. Hopefully someone knows what I am talking about.

Did this episode feature Data and his dreams? What you're describing sounds a little like the episode "Phantasms" from season 7.
